When these nice Europe dist. people, a monk and two paragons, helped me got my friend's Obsidian armor. We had tried so many times in the American districts and failed that we decided to try it in the morning in Europe. It worked! I still give my thanks to you, guys!

Aside from that, I don't think anyone's ever been nice to me.

This was something I did rather than someone else. When I was getting my warr's 15k Kurzick a few days after Factions went live, I was buying the last amber I needed (back when they were actually worth something..) and accidentally put in 5 instead of 500 (yes it was an accident and not an attempted scam >_<). Then I got him back and gave him the rest.

The first character I ever took out of pre-searing got escorted to Piken Square for free . . . and then to Yak's Bend . . . and then to Beacon's Perch . . . and then to Droks. It took this guy like two hours, and he did it all for free. I didn't even really understand the magnitude of the gesture until playing the game for a few more weeks.

Ever since I try to be nice to newbies. Near the end of the Wintersday event I ran a pair of new players from Ascalon to Lion's Arch so they could get hats.

When I was a total newb starting out in pre... someone helped me run to the Warrior skills trainer and was giving me tips along the way. Didn't ask anything in return and was extremely nice.

Anyway, this is a wonderful thread. I know I have had my share of niceties done to me over the last two years in this game and I try to do my share in return. None really stand out in particular, but I do always like it when i am told a simple "nice job" during a mission.

Was that me? I like to give stuff to people that ask to buy, but don't have money. If they seem to really want it, but don't have the funds, I'll usually just give it to them, and tell them when they're rich and famous to do something nice for someone else.

The one that meant the most was after killing undead prince Rurik (in a PUG) the leader of the group said..."You're a kick ass monk, it's been a pleasure playing with you." So different from the normal comments monking brings.

Then another one was some guy in LA 1 ran up to me and gave me 10k, told me it was for actually using the Trade Channel. He was very insistent that I take it too.

I’ve seen a lot of good things during the event, and to make a huge list short. Thanks to everyone who helped in successfully completing the cook’s dishes during the event, and all those guilds that also made sure they had all the ingredients. And a special thanks to all those who stayed in ID 4 I believe threw out the whole event the NsK guild who provided every ingredient.

Well, my anti Jerk list would be:

1: The countless PvPers who have helped my Gladiator title so far, a personal thanks to all them. (I like monks who are smart enough to take Hex breaker in RA)

2: My Guild leader to a nice guy, a bit too nice for his own good I think, but I'm thankful for him.

3: The Dervish and Warrior who I did Gates of Madness with, dispite getting our rear ends nearly shaved off by Shiro +10000 times, we beat him in the end, thanks to them for not giving up.

4:The folks on my Friends list, whom most I met in PvE doing mission or was in a guild I joined in my earlier times playing.

Moonie gave me a Hyrdra in Id1 once.. I named him Jethro. People donate ale to me somtimes which is always nice.

I think the nicest thing you can do to someone in guild wars is completement them. When i'm pveing or pvping it feels so good to get a Wow, your an awesome monk miles. Really makes my day.

I have to say thanks to all my Guildies, they are great.

I'm trying to get a dye stack to 250, i really dont mind which colour, and so they are donating any spare dyes they get to me. I dont really know why i started this, but it's a bit of a personal challenge and i'm now half way there on a few colours, often due to their kind hearts

On another note, i have a storage character that i use just to keep golds and greens i find, but dont need, so that if a guildie pops up saying they need 'x' for their character, i may have one to give them.

There are lots of people in augury rock running these tedious crystal desert missions for anyone who needs them. Happened to me twice. Same as free Droks run (I gave him gold anyway and he was overjoyed lol). Some guy who gave me a scar eater + ele gear because I helped him with Naphui Quarter (You could just as well pay me to pick my nose for 20 minutes).

Prolly nicest thing was that people from my old guild helped me when i was making my monk.
I finished Pre searing, and in Post searing ascalon a guildie was waiting for me. He ran me from Ascalon to Beacon's and then to Droknars. There was another guildie waiting who bought me my armor & runes. 2 Other guildies were waiting there to take me on a skillhunter spree, grabbing every elite i could ever need to monk successfully. After the run we returned to guildhall, were another guildie was waiting for us. He gave me a perfect heal staff, perfect prot staff & a +5 energy sword.

hows that for being nice!
